If you’ve been following me for a while you know how strongly I feel about emergency preparedness. Being prepared goes hand in hand with maintaining your health. It doesn’t matter how far you can run or how many burpees you can bust out if you don’t have your health. In light of this Ebola craziness or other things that might be done the line, I’ve put together an emergency preparedness list for you. Please give serious consideration to the items on this list in any type of widespread emergency for the protection of yourself and your family.
The pandemic supplies listed here cover situations ranging from minor disturbances in your daily life, all the way up to worst case scenarios where assistance is prolonged or help is NOT on the way due to a total interruption of public services, such as police, fire, ambulance, doctor, medication, etc. Also included are supply suggestions to cover a disruption in other critical services such as grocery stores, electricity, clean water running through your pipes, gasoline, etc.

Thank you for composing such a comprehensive list. Hygiene really isn’t something I had given much consideration to. I think we are most prepared in regards to general supplies and shelter, but severely lacking with hygiene. I totally forgot about doing laundry and making plans for some kind of toilet/waste solution.
